Dörr CNC-Technik GmbH is once again offering apprentice positions for turning technology cutting machine operators and milling technology cutting machine operators over the summer of 2015. "A genuine interest in apprenticing in a metal working profession is important", according to Director Thomas Dörr. "Whether the applicant has completed their Hauptschulabschluss (German secondary school) with good marks or their Mittlere Reife (school leaving certificate) or Abitur (general qualification for university entrance) isn't a key deciding factor for us." Horst Emmerich cuts to the heart of what Dörr CNC-Technik believes in: "We want to train young colleagues who - like us - love working with metal on a daily basis." The apprenticeship programs are three and a half years long. The next hiring date is August to September of 2015.
